I have tried to pair this rangoli with the background tamil shlokas/songs......

In these tamil shlokas, Saint Arunagirinathar enters the northern entrance of the Thiruvannaamalai temple tower, has the dharshan of Lord Ganesha and tries to invoke His blessings by offering fresh flowers, to sing the Divine Glory/Holy Praise of Lord Subramanya, who is His younger brother.....

வைகாசி விசாகத்தின்  சதகோடிச் சூர்ய. ப்ரகாசமே!

முருகா!

ஆறு தாரகைகளின் கூட்டமாம் விசாகம் ஆறுமுகத்தின் அம்சம் தானோ!

பரமனின் நெற்றிக் கண் வரமாகத் தந்தது ஆறு அக்னிப் பொறிகள் அல்லவா!

சரவணத்தின் தவழ்ந்தது ஆறு ஆனந்த அலைகள் அல்லவா!

அது ஷடாட்சர தத்துவத்தின்

சாரம் அல்லவா!

குருவின் நட்சத்திரத்தைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து பரமகுரு ஞானத்தின் பூரணமாய் வந்துதித்தானோ!

பக்தர் விழிநீர் பெருக்கவும், மொழி தடுமாறவும், ஜாஜ்வல்லியமாக வந்த ஆறு வதனங்களே!

ஈராறு விழிகளில்  பொங்கும் எழிலே! அருளே

மின்னோட்டமே!

தேவாதி தேவன் என உணர்த்த எடுத்த கோலம் ஒரு முன்னோட்டமே!

காரண காரியம் கடந்த பூரணனே

ஆறுமுகத்துள் உன் ஆற்றலை தேக்கிக் கொண்டு  அவதாரம் செய்ததன் காரணம் என்னய்யா, முருகையா!

தீய சக்திகள் உன் பன்னிரு

தோள் திறனில் த்வம்சம் என உணர்த்தவோ!

கலியுக வரதன் நீ என்று காட்டத்தானோ!

வள்ளி தத்துவம் என்னவென்று தெளிய வைக்கத் தானோ!

மாயத் திரை கிழிக்கத்தானோ!

துயர வெள்ளத்தை தடுக்க ஆறு அற்புத அணைகளோ!

ஆறுமுகா என்று அழைக்கு முன்னே வந்து விடும் ஆறுதலாம் துணையோ!

அறுபடை வீடுகள் முக்தி வாசலின் ஆறு கதவங்கள் தானோ!
