 I had finished my kolam, the checkered triangle being the outermost circumference...but the tiny tots in our building wanted a bigger kolam......hence added the lotus border around.....

I had first bought Krishna (plaster of paris).....then wished for Radharani.....Couldn't find one of that size.....Then got a Gowri face during the Gowri Pooja....(Gowri Ganesha is a well known festival in Karnataka)....I took some help from my carpenter who made a body like structure in wood....So there they go the perfect couple....!!!
